Kawasaki
Kazuo Kawasaki’s ‘screw less, anti-tension’ chassis eliminates loosening of a lens caused by wear and tear of the lens locking screws, a common issue pertaining to rimless frames that uses screws to secure the lenses, thus provide better structural support for the patient’s lenses.
Oliver Peoples
Since the debut of the first collection, Oliver Peoples has maintained a passion for superior eyewear crafted of the finest materials with careful attention to detail. Each frame is meticulously handcrafted in two dedicated factories in Italy and Japan following a process that combines both technological advancements and the human touch. Disregarding conventional processes, each step is carried out despite the length of time required. The end result is an authentic design with bespoke, handmade details that are distinctive and unique.
It takes many months to perfect the design drawings, requiring countless revisions that make adjustments to a fraction of a millimeter to ensure the perfect balance and fit of the frame. Once the design is ready, the prototyping phase begins. A dedicated studio of true craftsman hand carve the raw materials to create three dimensional realizations of the designs. The process is entirely done by hand, and is an essential step in order to see the frame and make any adjustments before the industrialization process begins.

iGreen introduces a revolutionary product made with our 3-D Acetate technology as a result of repid innovation and creative minds. The special 3D cutting technique, patented by iGreen, permits the frame to be cut from a cube of multiple layers of acetate, creating an awesome and unusual optical effect. In addition, through the 3D cut, the frame is actually sculpted with face-form. We proudly design and manufacture our spectacles in Italy and most recently in the USA.
KALA
Our acetate frames are handmade in California with premium, raw acetate materials imported from Japan and Italy. We cut and polish each frame by hand and have been doing so in California for more than 25 years. Our metal frames are all skillfully crafted by metallurgic artisans in a luxury factory in Japan.
